Your duties in Officer reporting ...
If you have not done so already, download a copy of Tri Sigma's Panhellenic Manual. There really are two manuals for you. These manuals contain all that you need to know about the duties of your position! Please be sure to read them!!!
- Tri Sigma General Officer Manual
- Tri Sigma Panhellenic Delegate Manual
To our sisters serving as CPH Officers ... the Tri Sigma Panhellenic Delegate Manual is written with you in mind too!!!!! Please do make use of it!
The job of the CPH Delegate is to ...
- Attend CPH meetings, take notes, report back to your chapter.
- Be active and voice your opinion at CPH meetings on behalf of Tri Sigma.
- Attend chapter Officer Meetings and report to the group what is going on in your campus' Panhellenic, any upcoming issues or concerns, etc.
- Share information with your entire chapter. And be sure that your report to your chapter is recorded in the chapter meeting minutes!
Another responsibility as CPH Delegate ... VOTE !!!!
- Your vote represents Tri Sigma in your CPH.
- You need to take items back to your chapter, get their opinion on the issue, vote as a chapter, then you vote in Panhellenic as the chapter did.
- In Panhellenic voting, only one vote is cast for each NPC group. So if there are only 3 groups in your Panhellenic, only 3 votes are cast in voting on a motion.
- There are no tie-breaks in CPH votes. If a vote ends in a tie, the motion simply fails to pass.
- If the CPH is voting on any of the following, you need to contact your CPS immediately to seek her consultation:
